Augmenting Growth, Yield, and Quality of Rice cv. GR 11 via Foliar Application of “Metabolis Gold”

- Present investigation entitled “Effect of foliar application of Metabolis Gold on growth and yield of rice cv. GR11” was conducted during the kharif season 2021 and 2022 on the field of ASPEE, Agricultural Research and Development Foundation, Tansa Farm, At - Nare, Taluka - Wada, Dist - Palghar, Maharashtra, India. The experiment laid out in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with five treatments (Control, Metabolis Gold @ 0.5 gm, 1.0 gm, 2.0 gm, and 3.0 gm / litre water) were replicated four times. The plant height (cm), number of tillers / plant, number of panicles / plant, number of panicles / square meter and length of panicle (cm) were found maximum with the foliar application of Metabolis Gold @ 3.0 gm / liter water for both years. The highest number of seeds / panicle, test weight (gm), grain yield (q/ha) and straw yield (q/ha) were found with the foliar application of Metabolis Gold @ 3.0 gm / litre water. While, the lowest number of seeds / panicles, test weight, gram yield, and straw yield were found in the control treatment for year 2021 and 2022. The data clearly Indicated that, the yield obtained with treatment T5 (Metabolis Gold @ 3.0gm / litre water) was significantly higher than all other treatments, and also for growth parameters in 2021 and 2022.
